It is Thanksgiving, no turkey is cooking, no sides are being prepared, no family is home. How much I miss those days. How many times did we, or do we wish our children would grow up too quickly. How much I miss the sounds of children underfoot and their laughter. Sometimes solitude is good for you and sometimes it can make you sad. Sadder than you ever thought you could be………………… that’s what memories and holidays can do in solitude.
